Guard at the presidential palace, Dakar

Various pictures from Goree Island, near Dakar. The island was used as a post to transport slaves from Africa to the colonies, although it didn't see as much use as other ports, like the ones in Ghana for example. Pictures inside the building are from the slave house, where the salves were housed before being shipped.
