This is just a brief summary of the trip, I will be updating it more as time permits.

I started the trip by flying through Tokyo and Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. After spending a couple of days in Kuala Lumpur and meeting a friend of mine, we flew to Miri in the Sarawak state of Malaysian Borneo. We spent a couple of days there, going hiking in the Niah Caves national park. From Miri we went by bus to Bendar Sari Begawan, the capital of Brunei. After 2 days there, we took a ferry to Labuan island, in the Sabah state of Malaysian Borneo. From the Island we took another ferry to the mainland, and went by bus to Kota Kinabalu. We spend a couple of days there, going hiking in Kinabalu National Park and snorkeling on Sapi Island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. From Kota Kinabalu we flew to Denesapar in Bali. After spending almost a week, mostly in and around the central area of Ubud, we flew to Yogyakarta. We spent 4 days there, seeing the city, the surrounding area, and going to Borobudur and Prambanan. From Yogyakarta we went to Jakarta for a couple of days, and flew back to Kuala Lumpur. From Kuala Lumpur we went to Malaka for a day, and flew back home after almost 4 weeks.
